      HELP! I CAN'T SCAN MY MIGHTY JAXX PIECE!

      QR code authenticated toys

      To scan your QR code authenticated Mighty Jaxx piece,

      1. Ensure proper lighting
        • Scan in a well-lit area to help your camera focus clearly.
        • Tilt your screen or move slightly to reduce reflections on glossy surfaces.
      2. Hold your phone steady – Avoid shaking while pointing at the code.
      3. Clean your camera lens – A smudged lens can prevent your device from detecting the QR code.
      4. Frame the QR code fully – Make sure the entire code is visible within your camera’s scanning area.
      5. Update your device – Make sure your camera or scanning app is up to date for the best performance.


      NFC authenticated toys

      To scan your NFC-authenticated Mighty Jaxx piece, ensure you have an NFC-enabled phone.
      If you're using an Android device, please turn off Developer Mode before scanning.

      Here are some tips to improve scanning:

      1. Follow the online tutorial for step-by-step guidance.
      2. Remove the PEEL sticker before scanning—this exposes the NFC chip.
      3. Make sure NFC is turned on in your phone’s settings (for both Android and iOS devices).
      4. Align your phone’s NFC reader with the chip to scan your Mighty Jaxx piece.

      Still having trouble? Try scanning near the area where you peeled the sticker off—the chip may have shifted slightly during manufacturing.

      HOW CAN I CHECK IF MY MIGHTY JAXX PIECE HAS AN NFC CHIP?
      All Mighty Jaxx pieces with NFC authentication include a PEEL sticker on the toy.

      I THINK MY PIECE HAS A DEFECT – CAN YOU HELP?
      We’re sorry to hear that! To assist you, we need your piece’s unique QR Code ID or NFC UDID.

      The QR code ID can be found directly on the toy—it's the 8-digit alphanumeric string printed just below the QR code.

      Alternatively, you can find the toy’s unique number on your Certificate of Authenticity in the Mighty Jaxx app:

      1. Open the Mighty Jaxx app (scan the QR code on the packaging or download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
      2. Tap the [Scan Toy] at the bottom
      3. Select your authentication method:
        • If your toy uses QR code authentication, select QR Code.
          • Scan the QR code found on the toy.
        • If your toy uses NFC authentication, select NFC.
          • Locate the PEEL sticker on your item.
          • Peel off the sticker and place the tip of your phone over the area to scan.
      4. Once verified, your Certificate of Authenticity will be issued.
        • If it is a QR code-authenticated toy → retrieve the QR Code ID
        • If it is an NFC authenticated toy → retrieve the UDID

       5. Once you retrieve the QR Code ID or NFC UDID, please contact us here.
