1. Scanning & Adding Collectibles
Can I scan older collectibles to earn rewards?
Yes. As long as your collectible has a QR code or NFC sticker, you can scan it to add it to your Vault.
Can someone else scan the same collectible?
No, only the first successful scan of a collectible will earn Mighty Coins. Additional scans, by you or anyone else, will not work.
Do transferred collectibles count?
No, transferred collectibles will not count towards your collection’s progress, and will not earn any rewards. Rewards can only be earned on newly scanned collectibles.
2. Collections
What are Collections?
Collections group selected products into a set to complete. Each product in the set counts once toward your progress. Scanning additional copies of the same product will not advance your Collection.
Why do some series not appear as Collections?
We’re starting with a selected lineup of Collections. Stay tuned, as more fan-favourite series will unlock as we roll out new waves!
3. Reward - Mighty Coins
How do I earn Mighty Coins Rewards?
You earn Mighty Coins every time you successfully scan a collectible for the first time.
Why didn’t I earn Mighty Coins for items I already owned?
Mighty Coins are only awarded when the item is scanned for the first time. Items already in your Vault before this update do not retroactively award Mighty Coins.
4. Decorative Rewards (Backgrounds & Shelves)
How do I unlock backgrounds and shelves?
Decorative rewards are unlocked when Collections are completed. Rewards are added to your Vault profile automatically, and can be applied through the ‘Customize’ section of the app.
I completed a collection before the launch of the collection feature. Will I still get the reward?
Yes. If you already owned all items in a supported Collection before launch, the reward will appear after you update and open the Mighty Jaxx app.
Where can I find my unlocked rewards?
On the Mighty Jaxx app, go to:
Profile > Customise
You can view and apply all your unlocked backgrounds and shelves there.
Why can’t I see certain customisation options?
Some backgrounds and shelves appear only after you unlock them by completing their associated Collection.
